Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be employed to enrol?
You can start the course without a job, but you must secure employment in a dental practice within the first two months. This is a NEBDN requirement — your portfolio must be completed in a working dental surgery.
Why is your price lower than other providers?
We are not VAT registered, so we do not charge VAT. This saves you 20% compared to VAT-registered providers. Our fee is £1,550 per student, excluding NEBDN exam fees.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are delivered live online via video, once a week. Our base is in Bracknell, Berkshire. We can also run in-person courses within 90 miles of Bracknell for groups of 20 or more — get in touch to arrange this.
When are the next enrolment dates?
We have two intakes per year. The next cohort starts 14 April 2026. The following intake begins November 2026. Places are limited — contact us early to secure yours.
Can I register with the GDC after completing this course?
Yes. The NEBDN National Diploma is recognised by the GDC. Once you pass your exams, you can apply to join the GDC register. We also recommend joining the BADN, which provides professional indemnity insurance — a GDC requirement for registered dental nurses.
